As Julie gathered her sources she did not let them change her position on her topic. She seemed open to gathering information but her research informs her argument and she did not cherry pick any information. Her research pushed her into certain directions which formed her claim or argument. She paraphrases “I” frequently which makes her claim that much more powerful.
The sources that I have found have not altered my view point on gun ownership. The facts that back my opinion are pretty cut and dry. That is why gun ownership is literally the second amendment of the United States.
To me primary sources are the most credible. The best information comes from visual witnesses. I compare secondary sources to the telephone game, as information is passed there is always some sort of personal or biased twist to the information being passed. It is a lot easier to weed through the bias opinion in a primary source. You are presented with factual information and you can conclude what you want from that information.
