Up to date, in the United States about 37 percent of homes have guns. That is a lot of guns!!! Some US citizens argue that guns kill people… Yes some people that own guns do kill people. But same goes with knifes or any other weapon. More deaths are caused by overdosing on drugs but there isnt nearly as much awareness on drug overdoses compared to “guns killing people”. I am mind blown as to why people believe getting rid of guns will slow down violence. People will just kill in other ways, that being said, let responsible gun owners keep their guns. Through out my research, the numbers and statistics ive found are only helping my claim. I am still interested in this being my topic because it is currently a hot political topic and I want readers to understand an opinion of someone who does not owns any guns of his own but is also pro 2A.
