Reading Waking Up and Taking Charge using case analysis and rhetorical appeals changed the way i read the article by looking more in depth in what the authors claim was and how she reached out to her audience. If i would have read this not using these appeals I would have thought the author was just complaining or throwing out her opinion as if someone cared, but looking into it and studying her writing and dialogue I found that there was much more to her just throwing out a claim. The evidence she used and her persuasion captured my attention to read further into the message behind the writing.
